Week: 24-28 October, 2016 - important week for DAX 30

The next week will be a very important week for DAX 30 since 8 out of 30 companies from the index will release their quarterly reports for Q3 2016. The total weight of these 8 companies is 32%. Details can be found below:

Monday, 24th October - no reports are expected for DAX's components

The markets will expect the new readings on German Flash Manufacturing PMI and German Flash Services PMI which will be released on Monday, 3:30 am EST or 30 minutes after the official market open hour. Higher than expected numbers will be good for the German economy.

Tuesday, 25th October
Merck – 25.10.2016 (Tuesday) – 0.89/share, expected EPS

German Ifo Business Climate will be released on Tuesday at 4am EST or 1 hour after the official market open hour. It's a leading indicator of economic health - businesses react quickly to market conditions, and changes in their sentiment can be an early signal of future economic activity such as spending, hiring, and investment.

ECB President Draghi will speak about stability, equity, and monetary policy at the German Institute for Economic Research, in Berlin. It is about to start at 11:30 am EST.  The market will expect to hear about any clues and hints about ECB's quantitative easing program.

Bayer AG - 26.10.2016 (Wednesday) – 1.653/share, expected EPS  (weight - 9%)
Volkswagen AG VZO - 26.10.2016 (Wednesday) – 4.466/share, expected EPS (weight - 2.8%)
